Released in 1977, the album of this singer from Boston is dominating the scene of the disco era. The cover also contains a warning by way of preamble:
"This is not a disco record. It's Designed for ADULTS of the World. TEENAGERS, this album lyrically May Be too heavy for you, Especially If You're Into fast music. YOU WILL, however, if you enjoy this record 're Into GUITARS! "
It is true that his soul-tinged folk eyeing more to Jon Lucien, Terry Callier or Nick Drake. Not enough to catch the sweat on the track at most by leaving a log on the fire.

That's true. His music reminds me more of Jon Lucien, Terry Callier or Nick Drake than Sylvester. You won't sweat while listening. Altough you're putting too much log in the fireplace.
